Reform Movements, Issues, and Defenders:Databases

Everyone must use one of these sources.  These sites cross topics and reformers.   You can search the databases separately, or together.  You need an ID&PW to use these sources from home.

Noodle Tools

Here's the link to Noodle Tools.

Don't forget, the library has several copies of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 8th ed.  There are MLA handouts on the counter, and you can all use Noodle Tools.

    Media Sources

    Think about finding information about

    1. Your reformer/defender
    2. The country/region of your reformer (if the problem is country/region specific)
    3. The issue needing reform (domestic violence, child labor, poverty)

You should research both the issue + country/region after you learn about your reformer/defender.

ASK for help if you are having difficulty.

Start with the article from Truth to Power.

Use this Libguide and the cart of books to locate your last two sources.

Ask for help if you need assistance and direction

    Keep track of your sources.
