Pop Fiction Tips

    1.  You will need to upload the Home Access PWs into your Google Drive so you can enter the resources from home.  
    2. Leave your Google Drive open for seamless downloading of articles
      1. Biography in Context allows you to upload directly to Google Drive
      2. For websites without this feature, you can always use the print menu to save to PDF, then upload the PDF to Google Drive
    3. Cite your sources with  Noodle Tools using the Clever Login
      1. NT is now authenticated and accessed via Clever (It's linked from Clever on Connect.kcsd.org, too)
      2. Once you are connected to Noodle, start a new project, share it with your teacher, if requested
  2. Gale Biography in Context  is your best starting point

       (Password on the Google Document you just saved to your drive) 

      1. Biographies
      2. Pictures
      3. News articles
      4. Citations provided, download directly to Noodle Tools and edit

Google

Make sure that you are choosing authoritative, accurate, and academic websites.  Take a few minutes to check out the sponsor and publisher, often found at the "about us" section of the page.  Stay away from student-generated content on sites like Weebly and Google Slides.
