In addition to the three most student-friendly controversy oriented databases, Issues and Controversies, SIRS, and Opposing Viewpoints, there are other helpful databases to use for your research project. Explore the other KHS and Power Library databases to identify the sources that cover your topic. Everyone should use EBSCO host, accessed from the Power Library link below.
One of the most important, yet often overlooked components of research is evaluation, assessing both the product and the process itself. Download the attached self-reflection document. Use the guiding questions to evaluate the research process which resulted in your research paper. There are no right or wrong answers. This is a time for you to think about your thinking to help you with future research papers and projects. Your reflection must be typed. You will post your reflection to your Google Docs account within Google Drive, and share it with me, lteixeira.
Don't forget, the library has several copies of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 8th Ed. If you can't find an example of a source in our KHS handout, check the complete handbook for help. Even better, ask your teacher or Ms. Teixeira for assistance.
