Research Tips for Macbeth

  • Make sure that you can access Noodle Tools; Use the Noodle Tools tab at the top of this page. (Remember to login using your CLEVER credentials, student ID& KCSD PW))
    • Once you are logged in to Noodle:
      • Choose one student from your group to create a project
      • Collect the student IDs from your group
        • Share the project you create with your group members
      • Share the project with Ms. Ferguson, Macbeth your period)
  • Start researching your group's Macbeth topic
    • Use the sources from your assignment sheet to begin
    • Fill in using the other sources on this Libguide
      • Download the Home Access PW Info
        • You must be logged into your KCSD Google drive to access the above file.
        • You will need the PWs for many of the resources below when working outside of KHS
    • Use a variety of sources in multiple formats
    • Shop before you settle on your sources
      • Make sure to check with your group members so you are all finding different sources
    • Once you find your  "keepers:"
      • Cite the sources in Noodle
        • Remember, the database articles automatically connect to Google drive and Noodle Tools
        • Some sources allow you to copy, paste, and edit your citations
        • The NT templates are super easy
      • Read/View/Listen Reflect
        • Highlight
        • Annotate
        • Mark up your text by underlining/circling/writing in the margins (online or on printed copies)
      • Use Noodle to take "formal notes"

Google scholar

You can always try to locate additional academic articles using Google scholar.  However, you are often directed to subscription only databases like our Literature Resource Center, which you can't access without $, or to ebooks that you can buy.
